Bigger tax cuts, less government spending. The Idaho Freedom Foundation has developed an alternative budget proposal for legislators' consideration. The proposal contains $125 million in tax cuts instead of $45 million and increases government spending by 0.8 percent over the current year instead of 4 percent. Read the proposal here.
