House Speaker Denney attacks Democrats for 'corruption' remarks

Earlier this week, Idaho Democrats rolled out ethics legislation citing a "culture of corruption" that Republicans say was aimed at them, though Rep. John Rusche, D-Lewiston, minority caucus chairman, says that it has to do with all in government.

On Friday, House Speaker Lawrence Denney released a statement condemning the Democrats' attacks pointed at his party. Denney listed several offenses and noted that Democrats were the guilty parties.

Denney also said that both sides--Republicans and Democrats--have crossed the line and instead of focusing on a "culture of corruption," the Legislature must instead focus on a "culture of cooperation."
