A Twin Falls-based water rights court, the Snake River Basin Adjudication Court, believes it will have all claims resolved by the spring of 2013, according to a story in the Twin Falls Times-News.
During the past two years the court has looked at 158,000 claims spread over 44 water basins. Only 600 remain unresolved, according to the judge presiding over the court.
The story reports that the adjudication process is important to establish a record of state, federal and tribal water rights in Idaho.
