Jay Nelson, a former Parsons RCI employee, has filed a lawsuit against Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) and his former employer, Parsons, seeking a default judgment in the case. According to the Bonner County Daily Bee, Nelson claims he was fired because he blew the whistle on a female worker being sexually harassed, as well as reporting safety and work violations.
Parsons is denying the claim, saying that Nelson was laid off for workforce reduction reasons. ITD has not responded to the suit, but has served notice that it is aware of it.
