Rep. John Vander Woude, R-Nampa, proposed a bill Tuesday that would require the Land Board to sell a Boise storage unit facility it currently owns. The Land Board has been under much scrutiny since that purchase in 2010 for owning commercial properties and competing with the private sector. Gov. Otter has even reversed course and said that it probably wasn't a good decision to buy the storage facility.
Under the bill, the Board would have to sell all business operations.
