Idahoans looking to engage with lawmakers at the Idaho Statehouse should plan to attend Legislature 101 this December.
Offered by the Idaho Freedom Foundation, Legislature 101 teaches Gem State residents of all political stripes how the legislative process works, how bills are developed, and how engaged citizens can make a difference in the Capitol.
IFF will offer one online class on Thursday, Dec. 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. so that residents statewide can participate and learn from the Idaho Freedom team.
Those interested in joining the online class can click here to register now!
The second class, set for Dec. 9, 2022, will be held at the Eastside Baptist Church in Twin Falls, in partnership with the Magic Valley Liberty Alliance. The class will run from 7 to 9 p.m. that evening.
No registration is needed for the Twin Falls class.
Both classes are free to attend, though IFF appreciates donations so this class continues to be free to the public. Click here to support IFF’s Legislature 101 project.
IFF Vice President Dustin Hurst, a veteran freedom fighter in Idaho’s political arena, said about the class, “Corporate interests employ an army of lobbyists at the Capitol promoting their Big Businesses agenda. On the other side are regular Idahoans who just want to keep Idaho free and prosperous. Legislature 101 is a critical tool in equipping Idahoans to go toe to toe with the likes of IACI – and win.”
More than 1,000 Idahoans have attended Legislature 101 since the program’s launch two years ago.
“Dedicating two hours of your time will pay off and help you come out on top of the battles that will decide the state’s fate,” Hurst added. “I urge everyone who cares about liberty in Idaho to attend.”
More Legislature 101 classes will be added at a later date.
