Heartbreaking: Idaho man paralyzed after receiving COVID-19 vaccine

How many times during the pandemic have we heard we need to get vaccinated to get back to “normal?” Probably more times than we can count. The media continues to push this narrative that COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective, but always fails to report the thousands of vaccine injuries that are occurring daily. According to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website, there are 1,852 vaccine injuries reported just in Idaho. Reporters tend to never reference this data. Why is that? Shouldn’t the public be made aware of serious injuries that may occur from these vaccines?

We all make daily decisions that come with some type of risk versus benefit thought process, but we aren’t often pushed toward a decision that’s only informed about the benefits. The COVID-19 vaccine has been rapidly pushed without sufficient research of the risk and benefits. We have been made to believe this vaccine will allow us to get back to “normal.”

That’s why, like many Americans, Doug Cameron did what he was led to believe would benefit himself and his fellow American.

Doug moved to Idaho in 1968. He graduated  from Mountain Home High School and began working at Double Anchor Ranch in Glenns Ferry. Over the years, he has worked steadily and remained active and in good health. He never experienced any health issues that required medical attention or intervention. He decided to get the COVID-19 vaccine, because he was told by many that getting vaccinated was the right thing to do. Cameron received the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccine on April 5, 2021 at TLK Farm and Dairies, where he works. Little did he know his life would come crashing down within a few days.

The day after his shot, Cameron began to have severe hip pain and loss of bladder control. He and his wife went to St. Luke’s Hospital in Mountain Home. Cameron asked to be tested for COVID-19 because his wife tested positive just four days after he was vaccinated. His test came back positive, so he was transported to St. Luke’s Emergency room in Boise. The same day, doctors discharged Cameron and said his ailments were related to COVID-19.

From April 12-14, Cameron’s pain worsened — he said it was as if his whole body had been poisoned. On April 15 at 2 a.m., Cameron woke up and was unable to move his legs. A short hour later, he was still unable to move his legs, and his wife found that both legs were cold. He was quickly transported to St. Luke’s in Boise and was admitted to the COVID-19 unit.

On April 16, testing revealed a blood clot in his leg and spinal cord hemorrhage with swelling. At this point doctors were unsure about Cameron’s diagnosis due to the range of symptoms. However, some healthcare workers believed he might have Guillain Barre and Transverse Myelitis; Guillain Barre is a condition in which the immune system attacks the nerves, and Transverse Myelitis is a disorder caused by inflammation of the spinal cord. Today, Cameron is partially paralyzed and remains wheelchair bound. Cameron and physicians believe that it’s most likely related to the J&J vaccine.

Cameron has spent more than a hundred days in the hospital since getting vaccinated. According to Carla, he received inconsistent care and therapy, severe bed sores, and emotional distress. Cameron described his time at St. Luke’s and Saint Alphonsus as a “prison cell.” He also spent time in Salt Lake City at the University of Utah’s Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital. When asked if he believed the vaccine contributed to the paralysis, he said, “Yes, some doctors have said the vaccine did this to me.”

Cameron and Carla wrote a letter to Idaho Gov. Brad Little, Lt. Gov. Janice McGeachin, senators and representatives explaining the condition Cameron is currently in, and what this vaccine has done to him. They asked the following questions: “What is the plan for the ones who got the shot and are now unable to work and support themselves? Will Idaho stand up and take care of its citizens that have given their lives and livelihood in an honest attempt to try to protect themselves, their families, and the public?”

Gov.Little and other members who hold a higher power in the state of Idaho have continued to encourage Idahoans to become vaccinated. Their dangerous, uneducated push for people to become vaccinated has led one man to lose almost everything he has worked for. Cameron’s story is a perfect example that the COVID-19 vaccine is not a one size fits all approach, and more research and information needs to be addressed.

Last month, St. Luke’s and Saint Alphonsus stated they will require all employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine or face termination. Cameron spent time in both healthcare facilities, well before these mandates were announced. Cameron was asked how he feels about these mandates, he answered, “Mandating any shot is wrong.

It’s unclear if Cameron will ever be able to walk again. The Camerons’ summer plans to spend time with family and teach their grandkids the value of hard work, have been put on hold. Life has been changed for the worse, from expensive medical bills and  rearranging their home, to constantly traveling to see different doctors. A GoFundMe page has been set up by Idaho Sen. Christy Zito https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-doug-and-carla-rebuild-their-life.

There have been over 1.4 million vaccinations given in Idaho to date with 700,000 people being fully vaccinated. I believe Doug or Dave Cameron’s story is tragic and most likely the result of his Covid-19 vaccination. Attending physician's conjecture however, is not evidence and should not be presented in any other light than being conjecture. There have been a reported 1852---now as you can see below higher, adverse reactions to the vaccines----what are these reactions? In the most recent Dept. of Health
and Welfare data the morbidity and mortality come into focus. I am not sure if the data are presented as “rolling” or real-time.
    IDAHO - All ages
    Birth Life Permanently
Cases Dr. Office ER Hospital Defect Myocarditis Threatening Disabled Death Recovered
    7/16/2021 446 254 92 1 43 36 14 752
    7/23/2021 1,917 441 0 91 1 9 42 38 14 743
    7/30/2021 1,946 454 0 94 1 9 45 38 15 754
Not sure why they are showing 0 ER visits.
Deaths from ALL vaccines from 1/1/1901 through 11/30/2020 6,255
What I believe happened in the case you reported on is that the patient developed a hyperimmune reaction because he had existing Covid antibodies---you mentioned his wife had been diagnosed earlier. This hyperimmune reaction can be manifested either via a hyperimmune response like Guillen Barre or via an acceleration of the clotting cascade---like I think what happened to our index patient—there are other theoretical mechanisms that could explain this particular clinical presentation. This is precisely why patients with previous infections or those already vaccinated should not be vaccinated. Young school-age children also fall into this category. I also recommend that everyone being vaccinated should be on a regiment of 1 baby aspirin a day for a week prior to vaccination and 4 weeks after vaccination----unless there are clinical reasons not to be on aspirin.
Numbers and data should always stand alone and they will eventually speak for themselves. Conjecture is dangerous because it takes the numbers out of context. 14 deaths out of 1.4 million injections have an index ratio of 0.00001 or .001%=1/100,000. This seems like a high number to me but I don’t know and that in fact is the real story—is it a high number? I tried to offer comparable data on all vaccines in Idaho above, but the answer to the overall question involves an analysis of risk mitigation of vaccination, vs risk mitigation of complications of the disease. This is where scholarship is applied to the data. Reports in the media most of the time don’t offer this kind of insight.
Anecdotal sensationalizing adds nothing to the discussion.
    Love ya
Thanks for all that you do for liberty.

Which was it- the vaccine or the fact he had covid? Skewed reporting here. I’m open to the possibility of a causal effect due to vaccination but this story is quick to blame it without proof. Shame on you.

There is no reason to get the vaccine unless you're in a high risk category (elderly/obese with 1 or more comorbidities). There have been over 12,000 Americans who have died from the vaccines and hundreds of thousands injured. Some estimate that deaths from vaccines are very underestimated. The CDC is not doing autopsies on vaccine deaths which raises a huge red flag. Add in the fact that we have no idea about long term side effects and mass vaccination increases the chances of a variant that would totally escape the vaccine. We should have only vaxxed the high risk and let the rest get natural immunity along with early treatment.

Many unvaxxed people have been infected with Covid and recovered. They are in good shape. The rest of the unvaxxed should be acquiring medications/supplements for either prophylaxis or early treatment. See the following websites for protocols, links to doctors, other info:

Humans have had disastrous effects on this hologram. All vaccines harm the body. A cursory investigation into The Medical Industrial Komplex could lend answers to the lowest IQ human.

  • ben says:

You're blaming his conditions on the vaccine even though he was diagnosed with Covid-19 the day after the vaccine. Transverse Myelitis is a complication of Covid-19 and Guillain Barre is commonly associated with viral infections, like Covid. Stop making this about the vaccine. His symptoms are complications of the virus.

Chad, Wayne, the vaccine is FDA approved today. Why don’t you-two do yourselves and your family a favor and go get vaccinated.

Twenty days after my husband had his second Maderna Covid shot he started having trouble walking, Saturday March 20th. The next day, Sunday March 21st, I took him to emergency. Monday, March 22nd, they did an MRI and found 6 lesions on his brain and one on his brain stem. Tuesday, March 23rd, they told him to stop taking his blood thinner, Pradaxa, and go home. The lesions are probably from the Pradaxa and should go away.
On Monday April 12th, he went to get his second MRI, by then he could hardly walk and needed help all the time. We never got the results of that MRI because on Tuesday April 13th, while on a phone call with his doctor, he went to stand and fell straight down. This time the Paramedics took him to the hospital. From April 13th forward he’s been paralyzed from his mid chest down.
In three weeks and three days after the Maderna Covid Shot he became paralyzed. The doctors took all kinds of tests and after 3 1/2 months in several hospitals they sent him home with NO diagnosis. Go home they said have the best life you can.
Now our living room is a hospital room. Hospital bed, hoyer lift, wheelchair, shower wheelchair, and we had our downstairs bathroom remodeled to accommodate the wheelchair. He lives in his bed, easy chair, or wheelchair.
My husband is 78 and up until the day he had trouble walking he played golf 5 or 6 days a week rain or shine and in the desert it can get hot. That is why we live on a golf course. He played golf for 54 years and when he retired in 2006 his dream was to live on a golf course and play whenever he wanted. In 2008 we bought our retirement home on a golf course. He’s always been young and active for his age but this is aging him.
I’m 75, his wife, and his 247 caregiver. I don’t know how long I will be able to take care of him but I hope it’s for a very long time. I do not want him to go anywhere besides the fact that we can’t afford that or a caregiver.
I just want the Pharmaceutical Companies to own up to the fact that there are complications with the Covid Shots. I know my husband is not the only one. I begged the doctors to report it but they won’t. I did report it on the CDC site and the VAERS site. Someone has to! I know Covid Shots are saving people but it’s also ruining lives.
I’ve talked to friends that have had adverse problems after taking the shots. I know we are not alone.
Thank you for reading our story. My husband is still not convinced it’s due to the Covid Shot, but I am.
