Boise State University anticipates spending $33.4 million in 2012-13 on its athletic programs while the University of Idaho is projecting expenditures of $15.1 million.
The bulk of the money for both programs comes from program revenue, but there is an element in state support at both schools, reports the Idaho Statesman. BSU reports that 10 percent of its budget comes from state support, Idaho says it receives 22 percent in state support.
