On Wednesday, the House Local Government Committee passed a bill requiring a two-year moratorium on wind farms, according to the Idaho Statesman. Rep. Erik Simpson, R-Idaho Falls, is sponsoring the legislation. He sponsored similar legislation last year.

Simpson think the industry is becoming out of hand with subsidies and it's time to take a step back and really examine what is going on.
