Former Sen. John McGee, R-Caldwell, resigned during the 2012 Legislative session amid allegations of sexual harassment with a staffer. On Tuesday he was charged with a misdemeanor for disturbing the peace in relation to that case.

According to the Idaho Statesman, the former senator turned himself in Tuesday night, posted bond and was released. An arraignment date has not yet been set.
