We’re just more than 90 days from the Idaho Freedom Foundation’s annual banquet, the event where liberty-lovers from across the state gather to compare battle scars and celebrate victories.
As we look forward to the event, which IFF has themed “Faces of Freedom” to honor our allies in the fight to empower Idahoans, we would like to share three reasons to secure your seats today.
- The snowflakes hate our keynote speaker. We’re set to hear from author and thought leader Charles Murray, who “The Federalist” described as an “eminent social scientist who should be receiving national honors.” Murray’s been the target of leftist rage this year, most recently having been ambushed by a handful of Democrats in the U.S. Senate.
Some snowflakes at Middlebury College made headlines in March when they shouted down a Murray address at the Vermont institution of higher learning. Here's what happened that night, as reported by the Washington Post:
After swarming Murray, a faculty member and a school official, the protesters shouted profanities, shoved members of the group and then blocked them from getting to a vehicle in a nearby parking lot. Witnesses said the confrontation was aggressive, intimidating and unpredictable and felt like it was edging frighteningly close to outright violence.
The old adage suggests that you receive the most flak when you’re closing in on your target. As the subject of so much progressive outrage this year, it looks like Murray’s about to score a direct hit. IFF is thrilled to host him at our banquet this year.
2. Mix with 300 leading conservatives on this festive evening. IFF anticipates more than 300 of Idaho's top conservative activists to join together in the same ballroom for a night of great food, drinks and conviviality. This is THE event of the year for liberty-lovers in Idaho.
3. Meat -- need we say more? IFF handpicked a menu that features lots of meat -- tri-tip, roast beef, savory chicken and more! Plus, your ticket comes with adult beverages.
So, please don’t delay We expect this event to sell out, so purchase your tickets today!
