Both Medicaid's costs and enrollment levels are expected to skyrocket during the next few years as at least two dozen states dramatically expand Medicaid in order to receive billions of dollars of debt-financed federal money.

While the ever-ballooning cost of Medicaid is generally recognized as the programs greatest flaw, it is far from its only shortcoming.
