According to the Idaho Statesman, on Tuesday a bill allowing teachers who have been terminated up to three years to transfer their sick leave benefits passed the Idaho House. The bill passed the Senate earlier in the session.

Currently in Idaho, teachers who have been terminated are allowed only a year to transfer their sick leave benefits.

The bill has no fiscal impact on the general fund, according to the sponsor.
