Smaller tuition increases requested for ISU, UI

Smaller tuition increases requested for ISU, UI

The smallest tuition increases in nearly a decade have been requested by the University of Idaho and Idaho State University, according to the Idaho Statesman.

The 2012 Legislature gave more money to higher education than the past two years, which is a main reason for the smaller tuition increase.

Boise State University will not ask for a lower tuition increase. In fact, it is asking for a 5.7 percent hike in tuition compared to last year when the request was for 5 percent.
