Senate Bill 1286 — Trespassing Hogs

Senate Bill 1286 — Trespassing Hogs

by

February 10, 2020

Bill description: SB 1286 repeals five sections of Idaho code related to taking up and safely keeping trespassing hogs.

Rating: +1

Does it create, expand, or enlarge any agency, board, program, function, or activity of government? Conversely, does it eliminate or curtail the size or scope of government?

SB 1286 repeals five sections of Idaho code relating to the taking up of hogs and hogs running at large within towns. These sections are 25-2102, 25-2103, 25-2104, 25-2105, and 25-2106. Reducing unnecessary or superfluous statutory language makes Idaho code more accurate and more accessible, both to those required to obey the law and to those tasked with enforcing it.
