Payette District's gender identity and sexual orientation policy (Policy 3281) allows administrators to meet with students regarding their gender identity, but parents must be given the chance to participate if the student is a minor. The policy also prevents any student from being "required to use [restroom] facilities that conflict with his or her gender identity or gender expression consistently asserted at school." Furthermore, the policy requires district staff members to "use the name and pronoun consistently asserted by the student at school." Failure to do so could result in termination. |
