BOISE -- On Tuesday, Idaho Freedom Foundation President Wayne Hoffman thanked the many Idahoans who sent messages to Gov. Butch Otter urging him to sign House Bill 67, the bipartisan-backed legislation to end Idaho’s sales tax on groceries, and added:
“In just about 655 days, Idaho will have a new governor, and I predict that governor will be an actual conservative who will not hesitate to sign a bill to end the taxation of food. The new governor’s decision will, without question, be a huge blessing for many of our families, businesses and border communities.”
Hundreds of Idahoans used HearMeIdaho.com, a new Freedom Foundation project to give Idahoans more say in their government, to message the governor.
