Rep. Phil Hart, R-Athol,  has been told by a federal judge that he cannot use his status as a legislator for immunity against paying his owed taxes, according to the Idaho Statesman.

Hart has been in a battle with the IRS for years, claiming that taxes are unconstitutional. The judge presiding in the case also moved up the court date to avoid any conflict with the general election in November.
