Micron CEO Steve Appleton died Friday morning at the Boise Airport while flying an experimental aircraft. Appleton, 51, was known to have an affection for flying and had survived one crash before.
Appleton started his career with Micron in 1983, eventually becoming CEO of the company in 1994. Appleton is survived by his wife, Dalynn, and four children.
