Kootenai County is considering a set of revisions to its building and development laws and that has drawn the attention of the local Republican Party, according to a story in the Coeur d"Alene Press.
Among the issues are private property rights and use of property, says a party spokesman. In addition, the updated plan contains language based on Agenda 21, a plan adopted at a United Nations conference that focused on development around the world.
The GOPers plan to meet Tuesday evening to consider a position on the proposed revisions to the county land-use rules and regulations.
