Tina Jacobson, chair of the Kootenai County Republican Party, is suing an anonymous commenter about claims left on the Spokesman-Review's blog, Huckleberries. According to the Couer d' Alene Press, the commenter wrote that $10,000 was missing from the party and that Jacobson was hiding the money.

The lawsuit claims that accusation is false and has damaged her reputation. Dave Oliveria, the one who runs the blog, acknowledged the comments to be false and took them down, according to the lawsuit.

Also, the suit claims that the Spokesman-Review knows the identity of the anonymous commenter.
