One often-heard complaint with death penalty sentences is that they seemingly take forever to carry out.  According to an Associated Press story in the Idaho Statesman, the Idaho Supreme Court has agreed to consider a case that could result in how much information should be reviewed in such cases.

At issue is the case of an Ohio man convicted of murder in both Ohio and in Idaho. He has appealed the death sentences. His appeals contain more than 50 different issues, says the story. The court will review a 1977 Idaho law that was passed to speed  up death penalty cases, but in practice has actually delayed them, says the Idaho attorney general's office.
