Bill Description: House Bill 41 prevents a government agency from imposing any filing or reporting requirements on a private foundation data beyond the requirements of Idaho code.

Rating: +1

Does it create, expand, or enlarge any agency, board, program, function, or activity of government? Conversely, does it eliminate or curtail the size or scope of government?

House Bill 41 restricts the power of government agencies, state officers and any political subdivisions from imposing additional reporting requirements on private foundations or charities beyond the requirements of Idaho code. This bill strengthens Idaho’s protections of private foundations and charities by limiting government agencies' requests to only that data allowed in Idaho code.
