House Bill 333 — Repeal of minimum sales requirement for vehicle salespeople

House Bill 333 — Repeal of minimum sales requirement for vehicle salespeople

by

January 22, 2020

Bill description: HB 333 would repeal the minimum sales requirement for licensed vehicle salespeople.

Rating: +1

Does it give government any new, additional, or expanded power to prohibit, restrict, or regulate activities in the free market? Conversely, does it eliminate or reduce government intervention in the market?

Under current Idaho law, vehicle salespeople must sell at least five vehicles a year to qualify for license renewal. HB 333 would repeal this requirement, thus benefiting salespeople who do not meet it.
