Does it promote the breakdown of the traditional family or the deconstruction of societal norms? Examples include promoting or incentivizing degeneracy, violating parental rights, and compromising the innocence of children. Conversely, does it protect or uphold the structure, tenets, and traditional values of Western society?
House Bill 239 would promote traditional Western values by requiring school districts “to adopt procedures and policies that prohibit classroom instruction by public school personnel on sexual orientation or gender identity from kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.” Ideally, public schools would be prohibited from providing any instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity since such topics are the responsibility of the family. Nevertheless, this bill would at least protect the innocence of young children from the corrupting influence of radical gender theory.
