Garbage collection in Heyburn is at the center of a debate of the merits of government regulation versus a more market oriented approach, says a story in the Twin Falls Times-News.

Residents are asking if the proper role of government is to establish regulations and limit access to the market or open up the process possibly allowing multiple vendors to collect garbage at a price point of their choosing.
