Following the killings Dec. 14 at a school in Connecticut and a renewed national debate on gun control, one north Idaho store says it is experiencing a run on gun purchases as well as classes booked solid for people seeking to carry a concealed weapon, according to a story in the Coeur d'Alene Press.
The story says gun dealers across the nation are also reporting brisk sales with purchasers worrying about their Second Amendment freedom being at some level of risk.
However, the story also quotes Idaho lawmakers who see no chance the 2013 Idaho Legislature will take any action to restrict or regulate gun ownership in the Gem State.
