The fallout from a hidden video showing workers in a Murtaugh dairy abusing dairy cows continues with the group that filmed the video, Mercy for Animals, asking that anyone doing business with the dairy refrain from doing so, according to a story in the Twin Falls Times-News.
The dairy's owner has fired the five workers involved, shown the video to all his employees and had them sign a document saying cruelty to animals is not accepted. In addition, he has installed more cameras in his facilities and hired an additional supervisor. The video shows workers beating cows when they were down, a cow being dragged out of a building and workers stomping on cows while they are in metal stalls.
Three of the five dismissed workers are being charged with misdemeanor cruelty to animals.
