The dust has settled on the voters' rejection of three education reform measures passed by the Legislature in the 2011 session, but the fallout is expected to be a dominant topic during the 2013 legislative session, says a story in the Idaho Statesman.
Among the questions that lawmakers will consider are what to do with the $22 million dedicated to implementation of the ed reforms now that they have been rejected and what elements of the three measures are worthy of consideration by the legislators.
Also looming is creation of a task force by Gov. Butch Otter to recommend education reform measures.
