School choice has become a big topic nationwide, and Idaho is no different. This year hundreds marched on the Capitol steps professing their want for more school choice. The Legislature listened, lifting the cap on the number of charter schools that can be created each year in Idaho.

The lifting of the cap brought Idaho's ranking from 20th last year, to 12th this year, according to the Idaho Statesman.
