The Blaine County school district wants to improve security in its schools. In a story from the Idaho Statesman, the district plans to  spend $1.5 million on things such as security cameras, remodel of two schools and even have security card-reader systems.

If the school board approves the plan this week, the security improvements could start as soon as June.
