Rep. Bob Nonini, R-Coeur d’Alene, has introduced legislation to ban sales of e-cigarettes to kids. E-cigarettes allow the consumer to inhale a nicotine mist, but there is no smoke involved. Because of this, the e-cigarette has started to catch on around the country as bans on smoking are expanding.
Rep. John Rusche, D-Lewiston, thinks the e-cigarettes should be banned completely, but nonetheless praised Nonini for bringing forth such legislation.
