Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Keith Allred has launched his campaign website at AllredforIdaho.com.  The first event listed on Allred's site is his official candidacy announcement Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Twin Falls High School gym. Allred grew up in the Magic Valley. That will be followed by a rally Thursday night at the Basque Center in Boise, and a lunch event in Coeur d'Alene on Friday.

Allred's website includes two YouTube videos from The Common Interest, the non-partisan advocacy group Allred founded five years ago. The site also includes Allred's email to Common Interest members last week under a link "Why I'm running as a Democrat." The site says that Common Interest is not endorsing Allred's run or any candidates up for election.

So far, Allred is the only Democratic challenger to Gov. Butch Otter. The Idaho Democratic Party has backed Allred in press releases and posts on Twitter and Facebook.
