Bill description: HB 594 amends Idaho Code to require landlords to give 30 days notice before any increase in the rent they charge.

Rating: -1

Does it give government any new, additional, or expanded power to prohibit, restrict, or regulate activities in the free market?

HB 594 adds language that would require landlords of residential property to give tenants at least a 30-day written notice if they intend to increase the rent or not renew a lease.
