The Idaho Freedom Foundation, the Gem State’s most influential public policy voice, continues to grow. IFF recently hired Lindsay Atkinson to serve as the group’s Local Government Policy Researcher.
IFF also hired Alli Megal to serve as the Office Manager.
Ms. Atkinson, a recent graduate of Northwest Nazarene University, will head up the foundation’s Save Our Cities Project. The Project will provide conservative policy solutions to school districts, counties, cities, and other local government entities.
“I’m excited to join the Idaho Freedom Foundation, and to run the Save Our Cities Project,” Atkinson said. “I have been working as an intern with IFF since June and have seen how IFF can help local officials make vital public policy decisions. I believe IFF’s work will pay off for Idahoans.”
Ms. Megal, an Idaho native, joined IFF in July. She graduated from Milwaukee Area Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in accounting then spent seven years running her own small business, pursuing her passion as a Certified Labor and Postpartum Doula, assisting women and couples through their transition into parenthood.
Ms. Megal replaced Amber Highburger, who moved out of state.
Since its 2008 inception, IFF has had numerous legislative victories, and partnered with lawmakers to cut taxes, ease burdensome regulations, and expose government waste.
