Bill proposed to help pay for wolf damage

A bill was introduced Monday, according to the Idaho Statesman, that would help pay for losses of livestock due to wolves. Rep. Judy Boyle, R-Midvale, said the state needs to start helping out the producers since federal dollars for recouping losses are falling off.

Under Boyle's bill, $8 of the money from the sale of wolf tags would go to help repay the losses. She estimates that the bill would free around $320,000 per year for the program.
