On Tuesday former state Rep. Brandon Durst and two-time candidate Janie Ward-Engelking announced their plans to run for state Senate and state House respectively.
Sending the announcement out together, both promised they would “fight for our public schools and small businesses.”
Sticking with the theme of the Democrats so far this political season, Durst said ethical lapses have been “routinely ignored by the majority party,” and that our government “has been soiled by tax cheats, defrauders of public resources, and questionable personal actions.”
