House Bill 351 — Education, Parental Rights (+1)

House Bill 351 — Education, Parental Rights (+1)

Bill Description: House Bill 351 amends the Parental Rights in Education statute by requiring school districts to post supplemental educational materials, textbooks, and course syllabi online.

Rating: +1

Analyst Note: House Bill 351 is similar to House Bill 292 introduced earlier this session, which has now been divided into two separate bills.

Does it in any way restrict public access to information related to government activity or otherwise compromise government transparency, accountability, or election integrity? Conversely, does it increase public access to information related to government activity or increase government transparency, accountability, or election integrity?

House Bill 351 would improve transparency in our public education system by requiring school districts to post required textbooks and course syllabi on their website by October 1 of each year.
