Senate Bill 1016 would amend sections 25-1121, 25-1144, 25-1145, 25-1146, 25-1160, and 25-1161, Idaho Code, to substantially increase fees and fee caps related to brands and brand inspectors. Some new fees would also be created.

Senate Bill 1016 would also amend Section 25-3303, Idaho Code, which deals with the licensing of livestock dealers. The fee for issuing or renewing this required license would triple from $100 to $300. The fee for each authorized representative of a licensee would see a similar rate of increase from $35 to $100.
