Resolution would make hunting, fishing, trapping a constitutional right

Resolution would make hunting, fishing, trapping a constitutional right

The Idaho House voted on Thursday to pass a resolution making hunting, fishing and trapping in Idaho a constitutional right.

According to the Idaho Statesman, the fear is that radical animal-rights groups could come to Idaho and severely influence the ability for Idahoans to enjoy hunting.

If the Senate passes the resolution by a two-thirds majority, it will go on the ballot for this November's elections.
