Rejection of Five Wives vodka may result in a lawsuit by Utah distillery

Idaho's rejection of Five Wives vodka because it was "offensive" to the Mormon population in Idaho made national news this week. Now, according to the Idaho Statesman, Ogden's Own Distillery, which makes Five Wives, may sue the state.

The distillery says it was not aware of an appeals process to challenge the state's reasoning for not allowing the vodka on shelves. The distillery said it conducted market research in Utah, which has a large population of Mormons, and found no objections.
