The Clearwater Economic Development Association, based in Lewiston, has been awarded a grant from the Small Business Administration that could amount to $2.5 million during a five-year period, according to a story in the Lewiston Tribune. even though the group has been slower to meet objectives for the program than it hoped.

The grant was one of 11 awarded nationally with the money dedicated in assisting manufacturers in securing government contracts.
