Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden has denied a records request into former Republican Sen. John McGee's sexual harassment investigation because it is a criminal case, according to the Idaho Statesman.

The newspaper attempted to obtain any documentation regarding the allegations, including text messages, emails, etc. The Senate leadership says it no longer has any relevant information to the case,  turning everything over to the Idaho State Police for further investigation.
